Thank You!

Thank you to each of you for your efforts to make the Canada Day BBQ a wonderful event!

It wouldn’t happen without volunteers and because we are blessed with so many kind and energetic people in our neighborhood, it was made even better!

Everything went beautifully, the clean up of the site, the decorations, all the food prep, cooking and friendly service, the fantastic entertainment and the wonderful games for the kids – thank you again to each of you!

Attached are a few photos for the day, in case you didn’t have time to take your own.

We have some volunteer opportunities:

Before Party Day

  • Clean up of site, beach areas, mowing/ grass trimming
  • Full washing of chairs, tables, and BBQ (buckets and a power washer help)!

  • Come early and help decorate!
  • NEW: Kids games organizers (bean bag toss, face painting, rock painting, sandcastle competition or your ideas welcome)

Food and Foodservice

  • Set up tables for food service and clean up
  • Recycling plan and garbage containers
  • Note: We already have offers for bbq masters and service help

  • Pack up decorations, tents & tarps
  • ‘Sweep’ the area of garbage
